A Certificate of Admission (CoA) cannot be issued after the semester has begun.
How can I do paid research when working in an on-campus lab related to my major?

How many years is the maximum period of stay extension allowed depending on each degree program?
How long does it take to get approval for part-time work after submitting an international student petition application on the KUPID portal?
It is processed within 5 business days after submission.
However, please note that applications may be rejected if the required documents are incomplete, so kindly check the result carefully.
After the university approves the application, final approval must still be obtained from the Immigration office.
Can I leave Korea and re-enter after applying for an extension of my stay?
For the sake of maintaining stable immigration status, please ensure that any entry to and departure from Korea is made only after your stay extension has been fully approved.
When can I apply for a visa extension?
You can apply for a visa extension starting four months before the expiration date of your Alien Registration Card (ARC)
