  • Who should I contact regarding questions about my academic records and enrollment status?

    For inquiries regarding academic records and enrollment status, please contact the administrative office of your college or department.

    Please note that the GSC handles matters related to visas and immigration status.

  • Can I apply for a Certificate of Admission (CoA) after the semester begins?

    A Certificate of Admission (CoA) cannot be issued after the semester has begun.

  • How can I do paid research when working in an on-campus lab related to my major?

    Please refer to the “Permission for Paid Research or Internship Activities” section on the notice board for detailed information.

  • How can I apply for a dormitory

  • How many years is the maximum period of stay extension allowed depending on each degree program?

    For a master’s program, the maximum period of stay is 5 years from the admission date and 3 years from the completion date.
    For a doctoral program, the maximum period of stay is 8 years from the admission date and 5 years from the completion date.

    Please note that the remaining period of stay must be within both the admission-based and completion-based maximum limits at all times.



  • How long does it take to get approval for part-time work after submitting an international student petition application on the KUPID portal?

    It is processed within 5 business days after submission. 

    However, please note that applications may be rejected if the required documents are incomplete, so kindly check the result carefully.

    After the university approves the application, final approval must still be obtained from the Immigration office.

  • Can I leave Korea and re-enter after applying for an extension of my stay?

    For the sake of maintaining stable immigration status, please ensure that any entry to and departure from Korea is made only after your stay extension has been fully approved.

  • When can I apply for a visa extension?

    You can apply for a visa extension starting four months before the expiration date of your Alien Registration Card (ARC)
