[유의사항]

1. 유효한 외국인유학생 비자(D-2)를 이미 소지하였거나, 유학이 가능한 비자(F비자 등)를 이미 소지한 학생은 표준입학허가서 신청에 해당없습니다.

2. 이미 유효한 외국인유학생 비자(D-2)를 소지하여 체류기간 연장이 필요한 대상자는 추후 별도의 안내를 따르시기 바랍니다.

3. 표준입학허가서는 8월 15일 신청분까지만 발급 가능하며 그 이후 신청 시에는 발급이 불가합니다.

4. 출입국관리사무소의 외국인유학생 비자(D-2) 최대 체류기간과, 고려대학교의 재학연한은 서로 다르므로 이 점 반드시 유의하시기 바랍니다.

5. 위 체류기간 및 비자 상태, 또한 고려대학교의 재학연한 및 학생의 학적상태에 따라 표준입학허가서 발급이 제한될 수 있습니다.

[Important Notes]

1. Students who already hold a valid D-2 (Student) visa or a visa that allows them to study (such as an F visa) are not applicable for CoA.

2. Students who already hold a valid D-2 (Student) visa and require an extension of their period of stay should follow separate instructions provided later.

3. The Certificate of Admission (CoA) can only be issued for applications submitted by August 15. Applications submitted after this date will not be processed.

4. Please note that the maximum period of stay permitted for D-2 (Student) visa holders by the Immigration Office differs from the maximum period of length of s tudentship allowed by Korea University.

5. The issuance of the Certificate of Admission may be restricted depending on the student's visa status, permitted period of stay, Korea University's maximum period of length of studentship, and the student's academic status.

2. 표준입학허가서(COA) 신청: 2026년 6월 29일(월) 10:00 ~ 2026년 8월 15일(토) 17:00 (KST)

표준입학허가서(COA) 발급이 필요한 학생(복학예정인 휴학생/재학생 모두)은 KUPID의 외국인학생 민원 신청을 통해 신청 서류들을 제출하시기 바랍니다.

※ 미제출시 표준입학허가서 발급 불가

4. 수료연구재학생 비자 연장

재학생 중 수료 후 수료연구재학생으로서 2026년 2학기 비자 연장 신청을 할 경우 출입국관리사무소에서 수료증명서를 필요로 함(출입국관리사무소에서 수료예정증명서는 불인정)

※ 수료증명서 발급은 수료로 학적 변경이 된 시점에 가능

※ 출입국관리사무소의 외국인유학생 비자(D-2) 최대 체류기간과, 고려대학교의 재학연한은 기간이 서로 다르므로 이 점 반드시 확인하시기 바랍니다.

수료연구재학생으로서 비자연장은 6개월 단위로만 가능하며 관련 양식 및 재정증빙서류 필수임 (박사는 1년 연장 가능)

2. Application for the Certificate of Admission (COA) : 29 June (Mon), 2026 10:00 ~ 15 Aug (Sat), 2026 17:00 KST

Students who need a Certificate of Admission (COA) issued (including both returning students on leave of absence and currently enrolled students) should submit the required documents through the international student petition application menu in KUPID.

※ The COA cannot be issued if the required documents are not submitted.

4. Visa Extension as a Completed Research Student

Those who want to extend their period of sojourn for Fall semester 2026 as a completed research student will need certificate of completion(immigration office does not allow certificate of expected completion)

※ Certificate of completion can be issued once academic status is changed to completed student at the end of Jan, 2026.

※ Please note that the maximum period of stay permitted for D-2 (Student) visa holders by the Immigration Office differs from the maximum period of length of studentship allowed by Korea University.

Completed research student must enroll each semester and can extend their visa for 6months. (1 year extension is allowed only for doctoral degree)

For extension of visa, documents including bank statement must be ready.
