GSC will be opening applications for Fall 2026 LTE Language Exchange Program for Undergraduate students,

and Exchange/Visiting students at KU. This program provides an opportunity for international students who wish to learn Korean and Korean students who wish to learn a foreign language to not only exchange languages 

but also gain a deeper understanding of each other’s cultures.

1. Program: LTE (Learning by Teaching Experience) Language Exchange Program

2. Qualifications:

 a. ALL: Undergraduate students enrolled for Fall 2026 semester at Seoul Campus, who will participate in the program with great passion

*Students on their leave of absence are also eligible, Graduate Students are not eligible

 b. International Students:

 1) Students who are enthusiastic about learning Korean

 2) Students who are willing to teach their native language to their Korean partner sincerely

 * Only Korean language learning is available for international students.

 c. Korean students:

 1) Students who are willing to actively teach Korean and Korean culture

 2) Students who are interested in learning a foreign language

3. Program Details:

Participants will coordinate the activity period and schedule with their assigned partners and conduct the language exchange independently.

(Language exchange at least once a month and at least 4 times per semester is required)

 a. Application period: 2026.08.25.(Tue) - 2026.09.06.(Sun)

 b. How to Apply: Please submit BOTH (1) & (2) applications during the Application Period.

Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email that contains contact information of their language partner along with the program guide from GSC on 2026.09.21.(Mon).

5. Participation Benefits

a. Certificate of Completion issued under the name of the Vice President of the Office of International Affairs available to students who complete at least four activities per semester

b. Activity support fee (40,000 KRW per team, ONCE during semester)

6. Importance Notice

- After partners are matched, participants are expected to coordinate and manage the program activities with their partners. 

- Please participate responsibly and maintain active communication.

- Students who cancel without sufficient notice, become unreachable, or cause other issues may be ineligible to participate in the program from the following semester onward.

- Applications submitted through the wrong link or containing inappropriate information will be automatically cancelled.

본 프로그램은 한국어를 배우고자 하는 외국인 학생과 외국어를 배우고자 하는 한국인 학생이 서로의 언어를 배울 뿐만 아니라 문화를 이해할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.

 2) 본인의 모국어를 성실하게 가르칠 학생

 * 한국어 배우기만 가능함

다. 한국인 학생

 1) 한국어 및 한국 문화에 대해 성실하게 가르칠 학생

 2) 외국어 배우기에 관심이 많은 학생

3. 활동 기간 및 방식:

매칭된 파트너와 자율적으로 활동 기간을 정해서 진행 (단, 최소 월 1회/ 학기당 최소 4회 이상 언어교류 필수)

5. 참가 혜택

 가. 국제처장 명의 수료증 발급(학기당 최소 활동 4회 이상 진행 후 만족도 조사 완료자)

 나. 활동지원비 1회 지급(팀별 최대 4만원)

6. 유의사항

 가. 파트너 매칭 이후에는 서로 협의하여 프로그램을 운영하므로 책임감을 가지고 활동에 참여해 주시기 바랍니다.

 나. 일방적인 취소 통보, 연락 두절 등 문제 발생 시, 해당 학생은 다음 학기부터 본 프로그램에 참가할 수 없습니다.

 다. 잘못된 링크로 신청하는 학생의 지원서, 적합하지 않은 내용의 지원서는 자동 취소처리 됩니다.
