학위 취득 후 유학생정보시스템에 변동신고가 완료된 경우, 학생의 현재 체류 위치에 따른 D-10(구직) 비자 신청 방법 및 유의사항입니다.

체류 관련 법은 자주 업데이트가 있으므로, 반드시 외국인종합안내센터(1345)로 전화하셔서 구체적으로 문의해주시기 바랍니다.

국내 체류 중인 경우

① 즉시 D-10 체류자격 변경 신청

학위 취득 후 변동신고가 완료되면 기존 D-2 비자 효력이 상실 절차에 들어가므로, 체류 자격 공백이 생기지 않도록 즉시 변경을 신청해야 합니다.

② D-10 신청 방법

방문예약을 잡고 직접 방문하여 신청

통합신청서, 여권, 외국인등록증

학위증명서(졸업증명서)

구직활동계획서 (6개월간 월별 작성)

점수제 구직비자(D-10-1) 점수표 및 증빙서류 (한국어능력시험 등)

체류지 입증서류 및 수수료

해외 체류 중인 경우

① 기존 외국인등록증 유효기간 내 신속 입국

학위 취득으로 변동신고가 되었더라도 기존 외국인등록증의 유효기간이 지나지 않았다면 한국으로 재입국이 가능합니다.

단, 변동신고 이후 장기간 해외 체류 시 입국 심사에서 문제가 발생할 수 있으므로 학적변동일(학위취득일) 후 15일 내 입국을 권장합니다.

② 국내 입국 후 D-10 변경 

입국한 즉시 관할 출입국·외국인관서 방문예약을 신청하고 D-10 체류자격 변경 수속을 진행해야 합니다.  

③ 외국인등록증 만료 시 (현지 주외공관 신청)

만약 기존 등록증 만료 등으로 입국이 어려운 상황이라면, 현지 대한민국 대사관/영사관에서 D-10 사증(Visa)을 신규 발급받아 입국해야 합니다.

If Staying in Korea

① Immediate Application for D-10 Status Change

Once the status change report is completed after graduation, the procedure to terminate the validity of your existing D-2 visa begins. You must apply for a status change immediately to avoid any gap in your legal stay status.

② D-10 Application Method

Reserve a visit online and submit the application in person at the immigration office.

Degree Certificate (Graduation Certificate)

Job Search Plan (written on a monthly basis for 6 months)

Point-based Job Search Visa (D-10-1) Scorecard and supporting documents (TOPIK score certificate, etc.)

If Staying Overseas

① Prompt Re-entry Within Current Residence Card (ARC) Validity Period

Even if your status change has been reported following graduation, you can re-enter South Korea as long as your current Alien Registration Card (ARC) has not expired.

Note: Remaining abroad for an extended period after the status change report may cause issues during immigration inspection. Therefore, It is recommended to re-enter Korea within 15 days from the date of academic status change (degree acquisition date).

② Change of Status to D-10 After Entering Korea

Immediately upon arrival, you must reserve a visit to your local immigration office and apply for a change of status to D-10.

③ In Case of ARC Expiration (Application at Local Korean Embassy/Consulate)

If re-entry is difficult due to the expiration of your registration card or other reasons, you must apply for a new D-10 visa at the local Korean Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence before entering Korea.
