학위과정 유학생(D-2-5 제외)의 학업과 연관된 소속대학 내/외 수익적 연구 활동 가이드라인 안내드립니다. 1. 대상 : 학위 과정 유학생(D-2-5 제외) 2. 소속대학 내 수익적 연구 활동 : 대학 및 산학협력단 등으로부터 연구 수당 등을 지급 받는 경우 ① 학업과 연계된 수익적 연구 활동 → 지도교수 확인서(붙임1) 및 단과대학장 추천서(붙임2)를 작성하여 학업 연계 여부를 KUPID [학적/졸업]의 [외국인 학생 민원 신청]에서 [수익적 연구활동 허가] 제출하여 승인 받아야 함 ② 학업과 무관한 수익적 연구 활동 → 지도교수 확인서(붙임1), 단과대학장 추천서(붙임2) 및 소속대학 외 연구활동 참여 사유서(붙임3) 작성하여 [학적/졸업]의 [외국인 학생 민원 신청]에서 [시간제 취업] 제출하여 승인 받아야 함 3. 소속대학 외 수익적 연구 활동 ① 학업과 연계된 수익적 연구 활동 → 시간제 취업허가 필요 → 지도교수 확인서(붙임1), 단과대학장 추천서(붙임2) 및 소속대학 외 연구활동 참여 사유서(붙임3) 작성하여 [학적/졸업]의 [외국인 학생 민원 신청]에서 [시간제 취업] 제출하여 승인 받아야 함 ② 학업과 무관한 수익적 연구 활동 → 체류자격외 활동허가 필요 ※ 과학기술분야 정부출연 연구기관에서의 수익적 연구(원) 활동은 학업 연계 여부를 불문하고 예외적으로 자격외 활동허가를 통해 허용 ※ 연구(E-3) 체류자격외 활동허가 심사기준은 개별지침에서 정한 규정에 따름 Guidance on Part-Time Work Permission for Paid Research or Internship Activities (For Degree-Seeking International Students, Excluding D-2-5) 1. Eligible Students Degree-seeking international students (excluding D-2-5) 2. Paid Research Activities Within the Home University (Cases where research stipends or allowances are paid by the university or its industry？university cooperation foundation) ① Paid research activities related to academic studies → Submit the advisor confirmation (Attachment 1) and dean’s recommendation (Attachment 2) via KUPID [Academic/Graduation] → [Int'l Student Petition] → [Permission for Paid Research Activities] to obtain approval for study-related activities. ② Paid research activities not related to academic studies → Part-time employment permission is required. 3. Paid Research Activities Outside the Home University ① Paid research activities related to academic studies → Part-time employment permission is required. → Complete the following documents then submit under [Academic/Graduation] → [Int'l Student Petition] → [Part-time Work] to obtain approval. - Professor’s Confirmation Letter (Attachment 1) - College Dean’s Recommendation (Attachment 2) - Statement of Reason for Participation in Research Activities Outside the Home University (Attachment 3 ② Paid research activities not related to academic studies → Permission for activities outside the status of stay is required. Notes ※ Paid research activities at government-funded science and technology research institutes are exceptionally permitted through permission for activities outside the status of stay, regardless of academic relevance. ※ Screening criteria for permission for activities outside the status of stay under the Research (E-3) visa follow separate immigration guidelines. |
