Please refer to below for detailed information. We look forward to your interest and participation. 1. Application Period: 10 July 2025 (Thu) 10:00 - 17 July 2025 (Thu) 17:00 ※ Application or documents submission after the deadline are not accepted. Please make sure to check the deadline and apply in advance to avoid any issues. 2. Scholarship Types A. Excellence (A) & (B) (Grade-based automatic selection/Application not required) B. High Achievers (Grade-based automatic selection/Application not required) C. Challenge (A) ★Individual application required D. Bright Futures (A) ★Individual application required 3. Basic Eligibility A. Intl' students admitted through 'International Undergraduate Admission' ※ Students who acquire Korean nationality and change their student status will be excluded from eligibility. B. Must have attended the Spring 2025 semester ※ Students on leave of absence for the Fall 2025 semester or graduating in August 2025 are not eligible. C. Must have achieved at least 12 credits in the Spring 2025 semester ※ For High Achievers & Challenge (A) scholarships, at least 12 credits must have been achieved in the last two semesters. D. Students who participated in academic exchange programs at other domestic universities in the 2025 Spring semester will only be considered eligible if they complete the credit transfer process at KU and notify the GSC via email (gkdnsml4321@korea.ac.kr) before the end of July 2025. E. New students in the 2025 Fall semester will be eligible from the following semester. F. Details are subject to scholarship regulations. 4. Additional Notes A. Scholarship recipients will get individual email notification around mid-August. B. Scholarship benefits would be directly reflected on tuition invoice for the Fall 2025 semester. Excellence (A) - For Whom: Top academic performers of the Spring 2025 semester - Scholarship Amount: Full (100%) tuition for the Fall 2025 semester - How to Apply: No individual application required (automatic selection) - Required Documents: None Ⅱ. Excellence (B) - For Whom: Outstanding academic performers of the Spring 2025 semester - Scholarship Amount: Partial (65%) tuition for the Fall 2025 semester - How to Apply: No individual application required (automatic selection) - Required Documents: None Ⅲ. High Achievers - For Whom: Students who maintained outstanding academic performance for two consecutive semesters (Fall 2024 & Spring 2025) ✅ Must have obtained a minimum of 12 credits in both semester ✅ For students who took a leave of absence or went student exchange during the Fall 2024 semester, the most recent KU semester grade will be considered. - Scholarship Amount: Partial (50%) tuition for the Fall 2025 semester - How to Apply: No individual application required (automatic selection) - Required Documents: None Ⅳ. Challenge (A) ★Individual application required - For Whom: Students who showed significant academic improvement between the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters ✅ Must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (including F grades) in the Spring 2025 semester ✅ Must have completed at least 12 credits in both semesters ✅ For students who took a leave of absence or went student exchange during the Fall 2024 semester, the most recent KU semester grade will be considered. - Scholarship Amount: Partial (30%) tuition for the Fall 2025 semester - ★How to Apply: KUPID (http://portal.korea.ac.kr) → Scholarship Application → Apply - Required Documents: None Ⅴ. Bright Futures (A) ★Individual Application Required - For Whom: Students in need of financial assistance ✅ Must have a GPA of at least 2.75 (including F grades) in the Spring 2025 semester ✅ Students who have already received the Bright Futures (A) scholarship for the half of their regular semesters will not be selected again. - Scholarship Amount: Partial (50%) tuition for the Fall 2025 semester - ★How to Apply: KUPID (http://portal.korea.ac.kr) → Scholarship Application → Apply - Required Documents (★ALL documents must be uploaded through the KUPID portal during the application process.
